Tomahawk Launches Sound Advice for Tourism

Tomahawk's new tourism resource: Sound Advice

We have officially welcomed our newest team member, Chip, an AI-generated T-Hawk with a smooth voice and endless enthusiasm for tourism and digital marketing. Well...technically he isn't that new. Chip was assembled somewhere in Silicon Valley and now calls a high-performance data centre home. It's warm, it's noisy, and apparently the Wi-Fi is excellent!

Chip is the voice behind Sound Advice for Tourism, our brand-new audio knowledge hub that brings its most popular tourism marketing resources to life for busy people who prefer listening over reading.

Each episode transforms one of our blogs or marketing guides into a short, conversational audio experience with actionable advice without the jargon.

"We wanted to make our content more accessible," says Renee Goodsell, our GM. "Some people love reading, others prefer listening while they're working. Sound Advice gives our partners another way to stay up to date with our latest tourism marketing trends and resources."

Our team has been quick to welcome Chip into the Nest.

"We're excited to have Chip on board," laughs Amelia Lightbourn, Team Leader, Digital Performance. "He never raids the snack cupboard, and happily records the same script over and over again. If I'm honest...none of us were putting our hands up to narrate the content, so Chip has found his niche pretty quickly!"

The first episodes cover topics ranging from Google Ads and the latest AI Search insights, including the increasingly confusing world of SEO, GEO and AEO.

We like to think that Chip's creation reflects our approach to AI: embrace it where it enhances the customer experience, but never lose the human creativity, strategy and relationships that great marketing is built on.

You can listen to Sound Advice for Tourism here and you will start seeing audio episodes as part of our blog articles.
