Air Vanuatu required a new website experience that would better support both its commercial objectives and customer experience across domestic and international markets.
The opportunity extended beyond a visual refresh. The airline needed a platform that could support more sophisticated campaign activity, streamline internal processes, and improve the online booking journey for travellers. At the same time, there was a strong desire to better showcase Vanuatu itself, helping educate visitors about the islands, destinations, and flight connections available across the country.
The project also provided an opportunity to empower Air Vanuatu’s internal teams with clearer ownership and processes across specialist booking channels including credits and refunds, charters, group bookings, and corporate travel.
The Solution & Results
This project has been all about creating a platform that inspires bookings and works harder across the entire business, from campaign performance through to operational efficiency and direct bookings. Key enhancements include:
- The ability to create dedicated route-specific landing pages and URLs to support targeted paid campaign activity
- Integration with their new reservations and online booking system, enabling a more seamless customer journey
- Improved internal workflows and processes to support specialist booking channels and enquiries
- Expanded destination content to better profile Vanuatu’s islands, routes, and travel experiences
The result is a more flexible and future-focused digital platform that supports Air Vanuatu’s sales activity while helping travellers better understand and explore the destination.
