ACCOUNTS AND OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - PART TIME

Are you looking for a role during school hours?

This role is a part time position: Approximately 20 – 30 hours per week.

We require  a suitably experienced person to take control of our accounts dept and assist with general administration duties for a minimum 12-month Paternal Leave Cover.

Looking for a positive, extremely reliable all -rounder, well presented, well organised with excellent oral and written language skills, an eye for detail and accuracy, and someone who works autonomously under their own initiative and the ability to work with others.


We require you to have the following:

·       Prior experience working in an accounts / admin / role with evidence of qualifications that demonstrate that you have the competencies for the role.

·       Good communication skills

·       Good presentation

·       Accounting experience and skills, payable and receivable

·       Experience using a computer-based accounting system, preferably Xero

·       An awareness of and a desire to provide, good customer service

·       Experience in Microsoft Applications

·       A person of strong integrity who values confidentiality

·       Enjoys the challenge of problem solving.

Experience in client-side and server-side application development including;
Javascript / Jquery
OOP PHP / MySQL
Front end frameworks – Bootstrap, Foundation
A design eye / attention to detail
Excellent communication skills

Other desired skills:

Version control - GIT
Experience in Zend framework. Preferably Zend 3.
Experience with API development
Unit testing

Javascript frameworks - Angular.js, React.js
Database management
Grunt / Webpack / Gulp
Experience with Content Management Systems
Experience with Test Driven Development
Rollout automation tools
Software design patterns
