The Challenge

The airline needed a website that not only made it easy for visitors to search and book flights, but for their own team to quickly update, as and when required.

The Solomon Islands is a lesser known holiday destination for the international market when compared to other Pacific Islands. Therefore it was also important that the website promoted the destination as well as the airline itself.

The Solution

Solomon Airline’s new responsive website uses the latest technology to allow visitors to book regardless of what device they are using. Location-based content means that promotions are displayed according to the visitor’s region, without the need to flick through irrelevant information. This helps increase booking conversions.

A large image slider allows Solomon Airlines to promote special offers and showcase the beauty of their location in the Solomon Islands. The easy-to-use flight search functionality is shown on the left hand side of every page (on desktop).

Tomahawk’s own content management system allows Solomon Airlines’ staff to quickly and easily update content when needed, whether it be to make changes to flight prices, add press releases, or even a new destination.
